The Lincolnville Band, established in 1870, continues today to provide a wide variety of band music to entertain the citizens and visitors to Midcoast Maine.
The band was reorganized in 1976 to celebrate the Nation's Bicentennial. Three of those original members continue to play with the band today. Recently the band has enjoyed an increase in membership and strives to bring their growing audiences exciting concerts featuring music of all genres. For the past two years, The Lincolnville Band has been named the "Best Band" in the Lobster Festival Parade and has the had the distinction of performing for national and state officials and the crew of the USS Samuel B. Roberts in a ceremony honoring an American Naval hero from Camden, Maine.
